Amgen (AMGN) will send temodar, a treatment for multiple sclerosis (MS), to India for the first time, according to Biomedicine Today. MS is India's primary supplier of cancer drugs, accounting for two thirds of all prescriptions written for the disease. MS is the second-largest source. In addition to Amgen's partner Cipla, Novartis is another company that provides biopharmaceuticals—including the MS drug—to India. The two large pharmaceutical corporations declared their ambition to work together in 2014.
